Our agency is also involved in many volunteer philanthropic interests:
- Broward County Alzheimer's Memory Walk Committee member 1997-1999
- Alzheimer’s Support Group leader for Broward County Alzheimer’s Association 1999-2000
- Volunteer Advocate of the Year Award, 2000 – Broward County Domestic Violence Council
- Broward County Self Determination Council – Advisor
- Camp-Kids – volunteer
- Founding member of AWARE – Alliance of Women for Alzheimer's Resources and Education

Board of Directors Appointments
- Women in Distress of Broward County – Board of Directors 1999 –2002
- Broward Grandparents – Board of Directors 2002-2004
- Broward County Health Facilities Authority – Appointed by Commissioner Irene Lieberman in 2002. This Authority reviews and approves all public bond funding for not-for-profit health facilities in Broward County. Currently an active, voting member.
- Coalition on Aging (BCOA) – President 2003-2005
- Sawgrass Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors – Secretary 2004-2005
